On February 11, 2018, C.F. was skiing on the skier’s right side of Andrews run as he passed the treeline on the right side of lower Sashay, and continued slowly on Andrews while looking down Sashay eyeing a location to drop in. As C.F. began turning towards Sashay, intending to enter Sashay on the left (far) side of Sashay, Mr. Anderson attempted to pass him on the right and collided into his back right side, knocking C.F. into the first tree on the left side of Sashay. On March 8, 2017, two brothers and a friend were on their way back to the Elk Camp area near the end of the day. They had skied The Burn, taken Trestle down and around and rode the Alpine Springs Chair up. They unloaded from the chair proceeded down Turkey Trot.
On January 26, 2017, R.F. was skiing with Beaver Creek/Vail Resort ski instructor Jennifer Ellis. Ms. Ellis and R.F. were following two of her grandchildren and another hired instructor down Latigo. This is a groomed blue run, or more difficult run. Latigo turns into Dally, a green or easiest run, which the group descended on. While on Dally, R.F. was blindsided and hit by Mr. Buckley, who was merging onto Dally from a glade on Addy’s, a black diamond or most difficult run.
On February 17, 2017, J.S. was skiing on the Columbine trail at Breckenridge Ski Resort in Summit County, Colorado. J.S. was skiing below Jess Porter on this intermediate run. Mr. Porter was snowboarding at a high rate of speed when crashed into J.S. from behind. J.S. was skiing with a companion who was behind him at the time of the collision. The companion caught the entire accident on his Go-Pro camera, leaving no doubt as to liability for the collision.
R.G. was biking in Fort Collins when he was injured in an auto accident. He was riding eastbound on Mulberry Street at the intersection of College Street, when the collision occurred. He was about half way through the intersection, when a car turning left (onto southbound College) collided with R.G.. He recalls seeing the bumper of the Defendant’s car, but was unable to avoid it due to a barrier in the middle of the road. The last thing he remembers is the car hitting his left side. When he came to, he was on the ground separated from his bike.

New Year’s Day 2017 at Park City, Utah V.T. was descending the upper section of Another World, a blue, or intermediate run, when Mr. Filbrun entered Another World from an unmarked, gladed section of the mountain at a high rate of speed and collided into V.T.
Our client N.C. was visiting Denver during the National Western Stock Show in January, 2014. She was a passenger in a car driven by her husband when their vehicle was rear ended by a texting teen. They were at a stop and were hit from behind at a high-rate of speed.
On January 10, 2016, the Plaintiff, P.T. and the Defendant, Sonia Ceranek, were skiing at Keystone Ski Resort. They were both descending the Flying Dutchman trail at Keystone Ski Resort. P.T. was skiing downhill of Ms. Ceranek, in control of his speed and course and plainly visible to uphill skiers. Ms. Ceranek was descending Flying Dutchman from uphill of him.
The accident occurred around 6:30 pm on a clear evening in April, 2016. Our client, R.J., was a passenger in a car headed to dinner on Plum Creek Drive. The Defendant turned onto Plum Creek without checking for oncoming traffic and, pulled out in front of the plaintiffs. Although our client was traveling at a slow speed (30 mph; posted speed limit it 35 mph), she was unable to avoid a collision with the negligent driver.
