A snowboarder accused of injuring a child while snowboarding at Breckenridge Ski Area last April has been found guilty. Matt Grannell was snowboarding on Pioneer Trail, a blue run in the middle of Peak 7 at Breckenridge Ski Area. He came over a roller and landed on a 6-year old girl who had just fallen on the run. Just above the drop, there is a sign that reads “Caution People Below.”

At the Summit County trial last week, Grannell was found guilty of two misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment and third-degree assault.
