An optimistic crew at Copper Mountain has fired up the snowmaking machines as Colorado resorts prepare for the 2012-2013 ski season. Copper Slope manager Mike Looney says temperatures have dropped low enough to ensure a good snow base.Other Colorado areas are waiting a little, the Summit Daily ( http://tinyurl.com/9nvrkh6) reports that A-Basin, Loveland and Keystone Resort are looking for lower temperatures.
