The skier who died after an accident at Breckenridge Ski Resort on Sunday was identified as Robert Redmond, a 45-year-old man from Virginia.

Redmond was skiing on the Columbia trail at Breckenridge, in Breckenridge, Colorado, when he collided with a tree. He was taken to St. Anthony’s Central in Lakewood, CO, where he was later pronounced dead. The coroner’s report indicates that the cause of death was found to be an accident.
